stress less

simple ways to cope with stress:

  • make tea. green tea, black tea, add milk - or not.

  • read the Bible. the point is not to finish it, but to understand it. and that gives you something to read - always.

  • look after yourself. if you’re upset or frustrated, let it out. vent, cry, run. find an outlet. but don’t let it bottle up. that will slowly start to eat at you from within, which is extremely unhealthy/toxic.

  • take a break. if you’re overwhelmed, take a nap. sometimes all you need is a break.

  • go outside. for a walk. if the sun’s out, at sunset, in the dark, at sunrise, when it’s raining.

  • watch a movie you like. or don’t like. whichever will make however you’re feeling, better.

  • hug your dog. or pet. they don’t want you to be sad or stressed. <3.

  • journal. write about how you’re feeling. that always helps me.
