the art of surviving

we struggle being still, because we live in a society where we’re constantly being pressured to do; to make money; to “make something of ourselves”, but have you ever stopped to notice that the people who actually do this, are the ones who stopped giving a damn about “making it”? they start caring about their true purpose in life, what really makes them happy.

it’s hard to keep going when everything is not going your way, but this is called perseverance. discipline. remind yourself of your resilience, whatever it is that keeps you going: whether it’s God, your family, the people who dislike you, or the desire to be able to rely solely on yourself. Whatever it is, focus on that.

The moments you don’t realize you are taking on in silence, are typically the moments of growth that you’ll eventually have to reflect back on.
